Ingredients
Organic avocado oil, organic lemongrass, organic Thai chili peppers, organic garlic, dried chile flakes, fish sauce, coriander seed, cinnamon sticks, star anise, black pepper, peppercorns.
Storage and shelf life
Refrigerate after opening. 12 months unopened, 6 months once opened. The oil may firm up in the fridge, which is normal: let the jar sit a few minutes before spooning.

Every jar in the box is built on organic avocado oil. It holds a higher cooking temperature while the lemongrass and garlic bloom, and it carries the heat cleanly instead of coating your mouth.
The garlic comes from Filaree Farm
Garlic is the ingredient I am fussiest about, so I buy it from Filaree Farm in Okanogan County, Washington: certified organic, grown by people I can call. It gives the saté its aroma and the savory weight underneath the chili.
Then I cook it here, in small batches, made to order weekly, and pack the jars by hand.

Is the chili saté gluten-free?
Yes. The savory depth comes from Red Boat fish sauce, first press, Phú Quốc, which is anchovy and salt. There is no soy sauce or bean paste in the jar.
