ABOUT OUR CHILLI OIL

CHILI SATÉ

It starts with clean, simple ingredients and organic avocado oil as the base. Instead of deep-frying or factory-processing, we slow-cook our aromatics and spices to build a richer, more natural flavor—so the sauce tastes cleaner, more fragrant, and more balanced, with real ingredient character in every spoon.

Not exactly. Chili crisp is known for crunchy, deep-fried bits. Our chili saté is not crispy because we don’t deep-fry our ingredients. Instead, we cook them more gently to build a smooth, spoonable, deeply aromatic sauce with bold fragrance, richness, and balance.

Phởzen Chili Saté is bold when tasted straight from the jar, but the heat is easy to control.

Start with a small amount and add more slowly. If it tastes too spicy, mix it with more noodles, rice, broth, vegetables, meat, or a little extra oil to soften the heat.

You can also use it as a marinade. Once the sauce is cooked into food, the spice level becomes much milder, while the garlic, lemongrass, chili, and savory aromatics become deeper and more fragrant.

A little goes a long way, so you can enjoy the flavor without overpowering your meal.

Yes. Our chili saté is made with organic avocado oil, which naturally handles high heat well—so it’s great for stir-fries, sautéing, and finishing dishes. You can also use it as a quick sauce base or marinade: mix it with soy sauce, lime, vinegar, honey, or mayo for an instant dip, glaze, or marinade. And of course, it’s delicious straight from the jar.

We’re a pioneering brand using organic avocado oil as the base, and we use mostly organic ingredients. Instead of mass-producing or deep-frying everything for crunch, we slow-simmer to build layered aroma and flavor. Price-wise, we’re not dramatically higher—but the taste is: cleaner, more fragrant, and noticeably more complex.

Yes—our chili saté is gluten-free.

No—our chili saté has no MSG and no preservatives.

Our chili saté contains fish (we use premium fish sauce made from real anchovies).

ABOUT OUR CHILLI OIL

Authenticity and Storage

We proudly make our chili saté in Washington State. We make it to order so every jar is as fresh as possible when it gets to you.

Yes—we encourage refrigerating our chili saté after opening to keep it tasting its best. Because of the nature of the oil, it may become thicker and a bit cloudy in the fridge. That’s totally normal. Just let it sit at room temperature and it will return to its usual texture—good as new.

Use a clean, dry spoon each time and close the lid tightly. Avoid introducing water or food bits into the jar.
